Joshua James Nunn

Hello! My name is Joshua, and I am a composer, dubbing mixer, and musician based in London. My compositions combine techniques of electronically produced music and live instrumentation. I have a particular interest in blending live instrumentation with digital technologies to create unique sounds. Due to my proficiency as a multi-instrumentalist, I am versatile and capable of working in various genres. I graduated in 2022 with a First Class degree in Music Technology and Production from the University of East London.

 

Prior to pursuing a career in music, I studied Art & Design. However, my passion for music took hold when I joined the Post-Hardcore band Our People Versus Yours. From 2010 to 2014, we embarked on tours across the UK and Europe. During this time, I wrote, recorded, and performed an EP and LP, which further honed my skills as a performer. Subsequently, I had the opportunity to play for bands such as The Gold, The Moon & The Tide, and Jackals.

 

In addition to my audio expertise, I have also have experience in visual media, particularly in photography and videography.

My music often takes inspiration from cinematic elements, allowing me to refine my composition skills. I have had the privilege of working on various projects including films, advertisements, animations and for fashion.
